The GSC is empty…
When I came to this floor (the one from which I’m sending this post…I mean the Global service center floor), there was a typical atmosphere…different languages, different cultures, different countries, but unified under the same emblem : AIESEC… This huge community gave us the opportunity to meet other people, to open our minds to new horizons…
To be honest, I think that I changed a lot with this experience, I’ve never trusted in a destiny or in chances, I believe in what people do, no one came here by chance, I think that even if we like adventure, discovery or whatever, every single trainee came here with his own fears and doubts, it was a risk that we took to meet here and to live this incredible experience…
Actually I’m staying in a floor with 5 other trainees… sadness, it looks that there was a long time ago when the second shift trainees were unable to find seats, a long time ago when 3 or 4 cars full of people were taking the 64-40 HGWY to reach the arch or the velvet on Friday night, usually I’m not nostalgic ( ya hasra ya hadj) , but I think that this experience will definitely give a new turn and a new breathe to my life, I don’t have plans already for “the after MasterCard”, just some ideas, if some of us have already taken their destiny in hands and decided to go to the country of the rising sun, or to enjoy some Swiss chocolate with some smiling cows… I’m still wondering what will be the next stage, waiting for a new opportunity, a new door to be opened…
May be I’m not realizing yet that the adventure is almost done… or may be I won’t realize, 8 month of my existence living here with this diversity, even if I’m going in another traineeship I don’t think that I’ll find such a colorful community… actually this rainbow is loosing his colors, rainbows are ephemeral, lets wait for the next rain that will change our lives again…
